Basics Of Pistol Shooting (1 Student) – Starting January 2, 2018
The Basics Of Pistol Shooting (BOPS) is for the beginning shooter. In a safe classroom environment, learn about the pistol: its safe storage and handling; the five fundamentals of shooting a pistol; choosing a pistol that is right for you; and cleaning and maintaining your pistol. Students will then transition to the range to take their first shot. The class will finish at the range by qualifying to NRA pistol marksman standards at the ‘red’ level.
It is recommended that all shooters have completed BOPS before advancing to tactical, personal protection or other forms of pistol shooting.
