They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.

Two different allegations: bailouts and bonuses

Taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity
Well, it’s pretty hard to dispute the first half. There’s little doubt that the amorphous “we” have given the equally amorphous “them” bailouts. I have not seen any research that indicates the correlation of bailouts with bonuses, but it is reasonable to conclude that bonuses should be suspended while an institution is in receipt of bailout money, if for no other reason that to stimulate expedited repayment of the people’s money.
As for the last words, “with impunity”… impunity from what?
Words mean something, and impunity means “exemption from punishment or loss or escape from fines”. How has this been the case?

A word on words
Notice the subtle use of language… “Taken bailouts”. This is largely inaccurate and potentially a complete misrepresentation. “They” walked into the White House, opened the President’s desk drawer and took out two trillion in fresh bills? No, Congress and the President worked hard to give our money away, occasionally with coercive techniques. Please don’t use words that convey a meaning that is simply not true.

…continue to give Excutives exorbitant bonuses.
Certainly there are examples of this, but the use of the pejorative term “exhorbitant” begs some clarity.
